Mes amis et moi avons vraiment apprécié notre week-end chez Georg et Chantal! Dès notre arrivée, nous nous sommes sentis à l’aise, bien accueillis, dans la bonne humeur et la convivialité! L’appartement était comme il était décrit, et les petits attentions à notre égard ( une bouteille de vin, des spécialités de Vlissingen) nous ont fait très plaisir. Le jardin est un havre de paix très agréable que nous avons particulièrement apprécié ! Rien à redire: c’était top!

One of the best b&b’s we’ve ever had. The b&b consists of two rooms, a living room and a large sleeping room. Both are extremely nicely furnished (even better than on the pics). The bed as well as the bed couch are one the best beds we ever had in a b&b. Georg was a wonderful host, really caring about your well-being at his place (he even stayed awake half the night to wait for our arrival, thanks again Georg 😉 If you plan a vacation in Vlissingen, stay here, it’s probably one of the best places in town.

Het ‘Lant van Beloften’ maakt zijn beloften meer dan waar! De zeer charmante en met oog voor detail mooi ingerichte B&B (die exact is zoals je op de foto’s ziet), is gelegen aan een stil, rustig en idyllisch pleintje. Maar tegelijk is het ook zeer centraal gelegen: winkels, terrasjes, de zee, de wandeldijk, de jachthaven, alles is op wandelafstand. We voelden er ons meteen thuis. En Georg is een zeer sympathieke en betrokken gastheer die er alles aan doet om je verblijf tot een succes te maken. Een gastvrijheid om ‘U’ tegen te zeggen! Wij vonden het fantastisch en hopen nog eens terug te komen! Bedankt voor het fijne verblijf en de lekkere lasagne.

Met z’n tweetjes hebben we twee overnachtingen geboekt in hartje Vlissingen bij ‘Het Lant van Beloften’. Georg en zijn BnB maken hun BELOFTEN uit de advertentie helemaal waar. Een top ruimte dicht bij de historische haven van het gezellige Vlissingen. De twee leefruimtes waren super schoon en bovenal gezellig aangekleed. Een flesje wijn en wat fruit stond klaar en indien je een ontbijt besteld is deze ook helemaal prima verzorgd. Georg zorgt dat je van alle gemakken voorzien bent en is goed bereikbaar, een fijne gastheer. Wij komen graag nog een keer terug! Cijfertje: 9/10

Neeltje

We hebben met z’n 4-en een top weekend gehad in Vlissingen en omgeving. We werden door Georg warm ontvangen met een goede fles witte wijn op het terras in de weelderige tuin van Lant van Beloften. Op het strand van Vlissingen in het restaurant boven de Panta Rije lekker gegeten en de zon in de zee zien zakken. Goed geslapen in het ruime appartement en om 10 uur stond er een luxe ontbijt voor ons klaar met verse broodjes, fruit en genoeg keus aan beleg. Op zaterdag zijn we gaan fietsen (electrische fiets huren bij station is een aanrader!) naar Middelburg en terug via Koudekerke, Zoutelande en via Dishoek langs de duinen weer terug. Ook nog naar Domburg geweest waar we in de visbar (wel reserveren) aan de fruit de mer hebben gezeten. Terug in het Lant van Beloften hebben we met Georg en Chantal nog een afzakkertje genomen in de tuin bij het vuur. Dit B&B is heel sfeervol en Georg en Chantal zorgen ervoor dat je je thuis voelt. Alles is prima verzorgd! Een aanrader!

Staying in George’s apartment was amazing! George is super nice and a great host! Before we got there, he was very helpful with any questions we had and gave us great directions to find the place. He greeted us very warmly (including delicious cinnamon bread from the region and a bottle of wine!), helped us find a parking spot, told us about great restaurants and things to do in the area. During our stay, he was always available if we needed anything. He even ordered Pizza for us one evening because we couldn’t figure out the Dutch website. The apartment itself is beautiful. It has everything you need for up to four people. We found ourselves spending most evenings in the beautiful living room, playing board games or sitting in the absolutely stunning backyard. The beds are very comfortable and everything is clean. The location of the place is also amazing. 2 minute walk to a supermarket and great shopping, 5 minute walk to the harbour and a bunch of restaurants. The beach is about 15 min away but you walk along the water so it’s no big deal at all. If you are thinking about coming to Vlissingen, we would definitely recommend staying with George. We could not have asked for a better place to stay during our trip! 🙂

Unser Host Georg hat dafür gesorgt, dass es uns in unserem ersten Kurzurlaub mit Baby (3 Monate) und Opa an nichts mangelte! An wirklich GAR NICHTS! Er ist ein sehr zuvorkommender Gastgeber und immer zu einem Plausch aufgelegt, völlig unkompliziert und steht einem mit hilfreichen Tipps und erstklassigen Empfehlungen zur Seite! Das knackige Obst auf dem Tisch, die frischen Blumen in der Vase und Bildzeitung sowie Frankfurter Allgemeine zum Frühstück mit frisch gepresstem Orangensaft zum reichhaltigen, gesunden Frühstück lässt keine Wünsche offen. Wir fühlten uns als erste Gäste sehr willkommen! Die Altstadt von Vlissingen ist direkt vor der Tür und unzählige Bars und der Hafen liegen nur wenige Fußminuten entfernt. Die Promenade, die mit ihren Cafés zu zahlreichen Zwischenstops einlädt und die Dünenlandschaft laden zu traumhaften Strandspaziergängen ein. Die Wohnung hält, was sie verspricht, ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail und hochwertig eingerichtet und auch Kaffeemaschine und Wasserkocher ermöglichen einen angenehmen Aufenthalt. Auch sonst mangelt es an nichts. Danke für die wunderbare Zeit und die liebevolle Betreuung, wann immer wir sie brauchten!

As soon as we met Georg, something so special happened. We got a very warm welcome – the Coke, the bottle of wine, the Nespresso coffee, the reservation in the restaurant – Georg is a perfect host, gentle and helpful , always wanting his guests to feel at home in such a cosy and stylish vintage 2-room apartment. Dear Georg, thanks again for the 2 nice days we have spent in your house. Isabelle, Perrine and Paul.

We had a great time at George’s place! We felt comfortable from the very first moment because George gave us the most friendly welcome and the house has a very cosy atmosphere (we fell in love with the hidden garden…!) The house is located in the historic town center, close to the small old harbour (with nice Restaurants, bars…) and in walking distance to the beach, so really wonderfully located. I hope we will have a chance to come back…
